About Us

Who is Little Bear & Co? 

I'm Kate (the big one) and this is Remy (the little one). 

I am a Psychologist (on hiatus) living in sunny Townsville, QLD with my husband, 8 month old, 2 dogs and a cat.

Shortly after starting maternity leave Little Bear & Co. was born; when I couldn't find any mama friendly jewellery that suited my style. As the most creatively-devoid individual within a 1000km radius, I jokingly suggested to my husband that I should make my own. A couple of weeks later Little Bear & Co. was born as an experiment, affectionately titled after our baby's nickname; Remy-Bear, due to the ferocious roar she has, which is likely to play a starring role in her teenaged years.

I am a bit of a slashie, as well as making jewellery, I do freelance blogging for revolutionary Melbourne cafe Green Press, have a bit of a potty mouth, and can make a killer green smoothie and raw dessert. 

But what I most enjoy is being with my little person, watching her learn and grow. And drinking coffee.
